Several non-standard ways to remove stains from the carpet

We all know how unpleasant it is when we inadvertently stain the carpet. Here are some practical tips to help you remove these stains. Before you take the carpet to the cleaning centers, try to solve the problem by  yourself.

Here are some practical tips for carpet stains:

Ammonia: Add two cups of water to a coffee cup of ammonia and apply with a sponge on the dirty surface. Wait for it to dry and, if necessary, repeat the procedure.

Vinegar: For darker spots, mix two tablespoons of salt in half a cup of coffee vinegar and use a sponge to rub the stain. After drying, clean with a vacuum cleaner. For darker and bigger stains to this mixture add two spoons of borax and clean in the same way. For fruit and fruit juice stains, mix one spoon of washing powder, one spoon and half of vinegar and two coffee cups of water, then pour over the contaminated area. Wait for it to absorb well, then dry it.

Shaving Cream: With a wet cloth lightly moisten the stain and add a shaving cream, then wipe with a damp cloth. The shaving cream helps a lot of oil stains. Apply foam on the stain, wait for it to dry and clean with a moistened cotton cloth.

Maize starch: To clean ink stains, stir corn starch and fresh milk until mashed, and apply on the stain. Wait for a few hours to dry, then clean the dried parts with a brush and a vacuum cleaner. The starch also cleanses oil and oil stains.

Salt: To clean the ketchup stains on the carpet, sprinkle with salt, wait a few minutes, and then clean with a vacuum cleaner. If anything remains, clean it with a sponge and until the spots disappear, apply the same procedure.

Baking powder: To remove stains caused by pets, it is best to use baking powder. Sprinkle the contaminated part with a baking powder and gently rub. Wait about 2 hours and clean the place with a vacuum cleaner.

Sodium bicarbonate: Sodium bicarbonate can be used to clean tea and coffee stains as well as stains caused by pets. Put enough soda on the moistened pre-spot, wait for it to dry and then clean.

Wet wipes: You can also use wet wipes to clean the stains on the carpet or furniture. They will absorb the liquid and clean the surface. Wet towels are very useful for stains on clothes or furniture.

Toothbrush: To clean up some pretty dirty stain on a sensitive surface, try with a toothbrush. Use a soft brush that can penetrate deep into the dirty surface. Apply cleaner or the above methods and clean the stain with a soft toothbrush.

Ice cubes: To clean the gum, stuck on the carpet, for example, you can use ice cube. To do this, put ice cubes in a bag and put them on the gum to freeze. Then, with a knife, clean the frozen chewing gum and wipe the surface with another detergent.
